By accessing or using the Action Ashley website, or engaging with Action Ashley, Food For Thought Dinner Series, Food For Thought Podcast, Substack, or Thatfoodietherapist social media platforms, attending an event, or submitting any form, you (“You,” “User,” or “Participant”) agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions, entered into by and between you and Action Ashley LLC (“Action Ashley,” “Food For Thought,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
Consent to Participation & Acknowledgement of Boundaries
By purchasing a ticket to and/or attending any event hosted by Action Ashley (e.g., Food For Thought Dinner Series), filling out an intake form, joining a waitlist, or engaging with us on social media, you agree to be included in our internal events or community-building database and the following terms and conditions. This means you acknowledge and agree to the following:
You may receive emails and SMS marketing, announcements, or reminders.
You are voluntarily participating in a conversation-based experience.
While facilitated by Action Ashley, this is not a therapeutic session and should not be substituted for professional mental health care.
This event is a social gathering and is not a therapeutic service.
Participation in this event does not establish a therapist-client relationship with Ashley Gersh, a licensed LMHC.
No part of this event should be interpreted as professional psychological advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
If you are in need of mental health support, please seek assistance from a licensed professional in a formal therapeutic setting.

2. Community Overview
Anyone who attends an event, submits a form, or engages with our content is added to our internal database. You may receive invites, community updates, or be considered for our curated connections at our discretion.
For events and services (subject to in person or online), we reserve the right to accept or deny, with or without prior notice, any individual from attending or participating in offerings and services at our sole discretion. This may include:
Removing individuals from RSVP lists
Denying entry at the door (in-person or virtually)
Revoking invitations without notice
This can occur for reasons including (but not limited to):
Violating our Code of Conduct
Prior inappropriate behavior
Overcapacity or curated guest list restrictions
Failure to meet event-specific criteria (e.g., age, intent, community guidelines)
All decisions are final and made to preserve the integrity of our community.
3. Conduct & Liability
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, discrimination, or misconduct. By attending an event or engaging with our services, you agree to uphold respectful conduct toward all participants.
We are not responsible for:
The background or behavior or other attendees
The outcome of interactions, introductions, or relationships and connections made
Any emotional, physical, or financial impact resulting from participation
Any damages resulting from participation
Conduct or content shared by third parties
All participation is voluntary and at your own discretion and risk. By purchasing a ticket and/or attending or participating in any events, you agree to release us from any and all liability in the event of any issues, damages, or losses that may arise.
4. Media Consent & Photo Release
By attending our events, you grant permission for your image or likeness to be captured and used by us for promotional or marketing purposes, including:
Photography or videography at events
Social media or website content
Press and advertising
You waive the right to compensation or approval. We cannot guarantee the removal of already published content.
6. Intellectual Property Ownership
All materials, methods, discussion formats, conversation prompts, concepts, and other intellectual property (“Content”) introduced, used, or presented during an event are the sole and exclusive property of Action Ashley. This includes both verbal and written content, whether shared live or distributed digitally or physically.
You agree that:
You will not reproduce, record, repurpose, teach, publish, distribute, or adapt any portion of the Content without prior written permission from Action Ashley.
You may not use any portion of the Content for commercial purposes, including coaching, speaking, therapy, workshops, or derivative events.
Any unauthorized use of Action Ashley’s intellectual property constitutes infringement and may results in legal action.
7. Recording & Confidentiality
To preserve the integrity of the experience:
Attendees are expected to respect the privacy of others and the nature of discussions. However, due to the nature of the group / event setting, yours and others’ stories, identities, or contributions to dialogue cannot be guaranteed.
Your personal data is treated confidentially and used only within the scope of our services. You agree not to share or distribute other participants’ information under any circumstances.
8. Ticket Policy
All ticket sales are final and non-refundable, except in the event of cancellation by the organizer. Tickets may be transferable at the discretion of the organizer with advance notice.
9. Code of Conduct
Events are intended to foster thoughtful, respectful, and meaningful dialogue. Any form of disrespectful behavior, including (but not limited to): Verbal aggression, bigotry, or disruption may result in removal from the event without refund.
By participating in our events or services, you agree to:
Treat all guests, team members, and community members with respect
Provide honest feedback when requested
Refrain from sharing private messages or screenshots
Avoid harassment, stalking, or inappropriate behavior
Violation of this code may result in removal from our community and restriction from future events.
