Do you take insurance?
I am in-network with Optum & Aetna. All other insurance is not accepted at this time.
Please note insurance interrupts treatment in 4 major ways:
1. They require a diagnosis in the first 50 minutes
2. That diagnosis follows you forever
3. Insurance can read session notes at anytime - HIPAA violation
4. That diagnosis can impact clients from receiving a life insurance policy
How long will I be in therapy?
There isn't a one-size-fits-all answer because every person's goals, history, and needs are different.
I typically recommend committing to at least 10 sessions before evaluating your progress. Those first sessions give us time to understand what's keeping you stuck, begin building new skills, and notice meaningful changes over time.
One thing we'll practice in therapy is becoming more comfortable with uncertainty. While I can't tell you exactly how many sessions you'll need, we'll regularly check in on your progress and make sure our work together continues to align with your goals.
Do you work with other therapists?
Yes! I work with therapists seeking therapy. To start therapy request a session by filling out the "Get Started" Contact Form.
I also offer Qualified Supervision for Registered Mental Health Counselor Interns (rmhci) in Florida. To request supervision fill out the "Get Started" Contact Form.
If you're a therapist seeking case consultation, Ashley Gersh facilitates an ACT Case Consultation Group where ACT Therapists in private practice meet monthly to discuss complex cases, network, and feel supported in community.
If you can't make the meeting times you can also request an appointment for Individual One-On-One Consultation and we'll come up with ACT / integrative interventions specific to your client's issues.
